This is a new self portrait of myself. I got bored of my last one and I started not to like it. So I made a new one. I got the inspiration from illustrations I saw when I was at the book store looking through stuff. I usually add a graffiti style to my art its one of my trademarks since I approach art from a urban style. I call myself the kingpin because its like the crime boss that runs city. So I wanted like this gangsta name and it describes me well, because I'm going to have my own studio and I want to monopolize the animation industry. This is another character from a series I want to make.Shes a futuristic pirate/treasure hunter. This is my first character done in my full style that's really detailed. I actually did it for my final for school. I haven't really tried since I've been in school, so I wanted to take it seriously so my teachers and classmates take me seriously. This is a character I had to make for a character design class. I just had to make a character off of a theme and I made a knight. I really like how he looks. I think I'm going to make an animated short out of him. His shield has a face on it because its alive and it talks, because its magical. This is a picture of Lupe Fiasco with graffiti...Originally I was just using him for practice. At the time I didn't really do to many people illustrations in photoshop. But it turned out so good I had to expand on it. It took me a long time to resolve the piece. I worked on it off and on for about a month. I tried to combine different styles I do, like with the graffiti. I learned a lot doing this piece with color, composition, and everything. This is a concept sketch for one the animated series I'm going to make in the future. The character in the picture is Jearrette a 16 year old kid that gets the power to control this energy and manipulate it to his liking. Basically in the picture is Jearrette trying to watch tv and the energy is coming out the tv as a creature and coming to consume him. It's gonna be pretty cool when I animate it.
